Token Boards & Reward Charts
A token board answers the question behind a lot of resistance: how much longer?
Instead of "just a few more," your child can see exactly how many are left and watch the gap close. Effort becomes visible, and the ending becomes countable.
What's inside
- Three ready-to-use token boards — three, five, and ten tokens, so you can start small and build up
- 12 cut-out tokens
- A reward menu your child picks from, plus blanks for their own ideas
- A weekly reward chart for older kids and goals that take more than one day
- Five rules that make token boards actually work
The rule most people get wrong
Never take a token back. Removing tokens turns the board into a punishment and it stops working immediately. Tokens earned are earned.
Start smaller than you think
Three tokens, not ten. The first board should be almost easy — a child needs to experience the system working before it can motivate anything.

New to The Calm Corner?
These cards work with every board we make. If you don't have the main guides yet, The Complete Parent Support System includes all four — behavior, routines, communication, and regulation — plus three bonus planners, for $63 instead of $112.
